Batteries
The RD8000 locator and transmitters can be powered using NiMH or alkaline D-Cell
(LR-20) batteries. Alternatively, Radiodetection supplies rechargeable battery packs for
both the locator and transmitter. It is important that you set the system to match the
currently installed battery type to ensure optimal performance and correct battery level
indication. To set your battery type:

iLOC
iLOC lets you control the transmitter remotely using your RD8000 locator. With iLOC you
can adjust the output frequency, power settings and use SideStep. iLOC commands are

Pairing
Pairing the locator to the transmitter is straight-forward. Before you begin, you may
choose to switch off all nearby Bluetooth
and transmitter's pairing process.
Preparing the locator for pairing
