Pressing ENTER then START begins the run. (START must be pressed within 5 seconds of
pressing ENTER.) This key combination can also be used to abort a deceleration process and
restart the centrifuge.
Pressed to end a run according to the deceleration setting. The red light on the STOP key
flashes while the rotor decelerates. An audible tone sounds when the rotor comes to a
complete stop. Deceleration can be terminated and the centrifuge restarted by pressing
ENTER then START.

Description
• Set speed
— 100 to 10,000 RPM (ARIES rotors: 1000 to 10,000 RPM)
in 10-RPM increments; or RCF from 200  g to maximum
for the installed rotor (in 10  g increments)
• Speed control
— actual rotor speed 25 RPM; g force control sets speed
to the nearest 50 RPM
• Set time
— 1 min to 99 hr 59 min (timed run), total centrifugal effect
(g-seconds), or continuous (hold)
• Time display
— indicates run time remaining (timed run), g-seconds
setting and time remaining to accumulate set g seconds
(g-seconds run), or elapsed time (hold run)
