Bottom Margin
This margin can be set between -7 and +7. Moving the number in
a positive direction moves the margin down and narrower bottom
margin. Moving the number in a negative direction moves the text
up the page and leaves a wider bottom margin. Changing the
bottom margin does not affect the top margin
5. Select [+] to move the number in a positive direction.
6. Select [-] to move the number in a negative direction.
7. Select [PRINT TEST 1] to check your settings.
8. Select [TRAY 1] or [TRAY 2].
9. Select [SINGLE] or [CONTINUOUS].
10. Select [SAVE] to save your settings when they are correct.
11. Press RETURN to return to the Diagnostic menu.

Advanced Setup Menu (Early 4037 Models Only)

Use this mode to run Storage, Fastbytes, Hex Trace, and Fuser
Temperature.
To enter the Advanced Setup Menu:
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Select and hold the top button down and turn the printer on. The
printer will perform normal POST.
3. Release the button when [PERFORMING SELF TEST] is
displayed.
To exit Advanced Setup Menu:
1. Select [PRINTER RESET].
2. Select [YES] to return to the normal print mode.

Storage

This procedure enables overriding a NVRAM error. NVRAM stores all of
the customer settings. By overriding an NVRAM error, you allow the
customer use of their printer using factory defaults only.
Note: For 4047, enter this mode from the Diagnostics menu.
1. Enter the Advanced Setup Menu.
2. Select [STORAGE]. [RUN ON ERROR] is displayed.
3. Select [YES] to allow the printer to continue to run, even though
the NVRAM is bad.
