Diagnostics Print Test 1

This test generates a one-page printout.
To run the Diagnostics Print Test:
1. Enter Diagnostics mode.
2. Select [PRINT TEST 1].
3. Select [SINGLE] for one page, or [CONTINUOUS] for continuous
print. In continuous print mode, the word [CANCEL] will appear
next to button. If [CANCEL] is pressed when the paper is not
moving, it will appear as though the button is not working.
4. Press button 4 to cancel Print Test 1 in continuous print mode.

Diagnostics Print Test 2

Diagnostic Print Test 2 generates a two-page printout. (The 4047 prints
one page).
1. Enter Diagnostics mode.
2. Select [PRINT TEST 2].
3. Select [SINGLE] for one page, or [CONTINUOUS] for continuous
print.
Note: Only early models of the 4037 are capable of continuous
print.
4. Press CANCEL to stop continuous print.
5. Press RETURN to return to the main diagnostic menu.
This printout is used to check copy quality.

Page Count Display Or Initialize

To view or set the page count:
1. Enter Diagnostics mode
2. Select [PAGE COUNT].
3. Select [CURSOR] to move the cursor to the desired digit.
4. Select [+] to increase that digit by increments of one from 0 to 9
and back to 0 again. This must be done for every digit.
5. Select [SAVE] to save the page count displayed.
