Developed Image Test

This test allows you to examine the image on the photoconductor and
may be used to diagnose print quality problems. You may need to do
this procedure several times to get the timing correct.
To run the Developed Image Test:
1. Run the Customer Test Page (Stand Alone).
2. Turn the printer off while it is printing.
3. Remove print cartridge; check image on the photoconductor.

Service Diskette

To use the service diskette:
1. Insert the diskette in drive A. At the DOS prompt:
• Type A:PTDOS -X and press Enter to access service
diagnostics.
• Type A:PTDOS -T and press Enter to access Toolkit,
customer functions.
• Type A:PTDOS -S and press Enter to access Setup.
2. Select the menu or function you want.
To load the service diskette to a hard disk:
1. Insert the diskette in drive A.
2. Type A:PTDOS -S.
3. Follow the instructions on the host display.
It is not recommended you install the service diskette on a customer's
hard disk. It may be installed on a shop or field service PC hard disk.
If the entire WPS package has been installed on the hard disk, all
commands from the service diskette are available at the DOS prompt
by typing PTDOS -X.
