Faults

8.1

General

Faults in the vehicle lift can be caused by a single fault. Check the installation for the
causes indicated.
If the fault cannot be cleared by referring to the indicated causes, you should contact
the service department.
Note
n
Any repairs to the vehicle lift and the resultant consequences are completely at the
users own risk where such repairs have not been carried out by trained lift service
personnel.
The fault diagnosis can be used for locating defects. If in any doubt, contact the
service department.
To resolve most malfunctions it is not necessary to remove the vehicle from the
vehicle lift. It is only recommended to remove the vehicle when the vehicle lift is in
its lowest position.
Set the vehicle lift to its lowest position in the event of malfunctions or repairs.
If this is not possible due to the nature of the malfunction, ensure that all pawls are
properly engaged in the locking position (lowering without unlocking).
Switch off the main switch from the control panel.
To do this, turn the main switch to the 0 position and secure it with a padlock.
Do not loosen any parts of the hydraulic system or remove any parts before the
vehicle lift is in the lowest position or before it is locked.
8.2

Out of limit height differences

This can be identified by a blinking (0.5 sec on, 0.5 sec off) <overrule> lamp. The
lifting function can be overruled for 2 seconds by operating the <overrule> button
and then the <lifting> button. In most cases this will be sufficient to level out the lift
again (blinking stops). Before mentioned operation can be repeated until height
differences are minimized by the control system and normal lowering is possible.
