Lower

To lower the vehicle lift, use buttons (4) <unlock> and (3) <lower> at the same time.
During lowering, the <unlock> button (4) can be released. The safety pawls will
remain in the open position.
Warning
w
If there is any problem during lowering, release the button immediately.
Due to internal leakage or temperature changes it is possible that the lift lowered
itself onto one of the safety catches. This catch will not unlock when it is operated.
To make operation possible, raise the lift approx. 1 1/4" (30 mm). This situation can
be recognized by a blinking (0.5 sec on, 0.5 sec off) "power indication".
Note
n
A flashing light, 0.2 sec on, 0.8 sec off, indicates an internal failure.
The lift-stop function can be overruled for 2 seconds by operating the <overrule>
button, control panel) and then the <lifting> button. If the height difference is still
more than 2 1/4" (55 mm), it is not possible to lower the lift. The before mentioned
operation can be repeated until height differences are minimized by the control
system (blinking stops) and normal lowering is possible.
During lowering, the lift stops about 15 3/4"(40 cm) above the floor. By pressing the
<unlock> and <lowering> buttons again, the lift will lower and an acoustic warning
signal is given.
The lift must have completely stopped in its lowest position before driving a vehicle
on or off the lift. This will prevent overloading of the cylinders and pawls.

Lowering into safety catch

To lower into safety catch, only press the button (3). The vehicle lift will then lower
by a max. of 2 3/8" (60 mm) until the safety pawls engage with the locking profiles.
The safety catch can no longer be operated (there is no longer a clicking sound
when the push button with the unlock symbol is operated). The vehicle lift must be
raised first (to release the safety catches) before it can be lowered.
