RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR
The rail pressure sensor is mounted on the common rail and is used to measure the rail pressure. The
EMS ECU determines the optimum fuel injection quantity at specific engine condition based on rail
pressure sensor
NORMAL OPERATION

During after run the EMS ECU monitors the raw value of the rail
pressure and is within the limits.
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS

Ignition ON

EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V

The raw value of the rail pressure sensor is below the
minimum set point during after run
DTC REACTIONS

Engine check lamp continuously ON

Torque limitations in next ignition cycle


Ignition Off/On
