WATER IN FUEL
Water in fuel sensor works on the principle of difference of conductivity thru water and diesel. The
water in fuel signal is provided to EMS ECU to indicate the presence of water in fuel . It works on the
difference of electric conductivity by 2 electrodes
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
No water present in fuel . The indication lamp on cluster will
come ON after ignition ON and goes OFF in 2 seconds
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
Water present in the fuel
DTC REACTIONS
Water in fuel lamp ON
Torque limitations.
HEALING CONDITION
Ignition Off/On
