STEP 2
Check the continuity between
pin 5 of the clutch sensor
wiring harness connector and
battery ground
STEP 3
Check the continuity between
pin 41 of the EMS ECU wiring
harness connector and pin 5 of
the clutch sensor wiring
harness connector
Replace the clutch sensor
Clear the DTC and verify

Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P171A is present?

Examine the short to ground
in 90% clutch sensor signal
wire
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify
