DIAGNOSTIC MANUAL

STEP 2

Check the voltage between pin

3 of rail pressure sensor wiring

harness connector and battery

ground

STEP 3

If the value is greater than 5.25

V, examine the short to battery

in rail pressure sensor power

supply wire

Check the continuity between

pin 3 of rail pressure sensor

wiring harness connector and

battery ground

STEP 4

Check the continuity between

pin 3 of rail pressure sensor

wiring harness connector and

pin 32 of the EMS ECU wiring

harness connector

Suspect EMS ECU malfunction

Replace EMS ECU with a new

one.

Check and verify for any new

DTC's

STEP 1

Connect the smart tester

Turn the ignition ON

Initialise the diagnostic tool

Record the DTC and clear

Turn ignition OFF

Turn ignition ON

Verify if P0193 is present?

Is P0193 present?

Is the value =

5±0.25 V?
