10 WHEELS AND TIRES

Refer to the "Flat Tire" section in the General chapter for
changing a flat tire.

10.1 Tire Pressure

Proper tire inflation pressure is essential to the safe and
satisfactory operation of your vehicle. Three primary areas are
affected by improper tire pressure;
• Safety
• Economy
• Ride Comfort and Vehicle Stability

Your vehicle is originally equipped with tires supplied by a reputable
manufacturer. If you ever have any questions regarding your tires,
please refer to literature supplied by the tire manufacturer, or to
the separate tire warranty provided by the tire manufacturer. You
may also contact Mahindra directly, or the tire manufacturer.

Tire size

Radial tires or bias-ply tire - A radial tire has "RADIAL/STEEL
BELTED RADIAL" on the sidewall. A tire not marked with
"RADIAL" is a bias-ply tire.

"TUBELESS" or "TUBE TYPE" - A tubeless tire does not have
a tube inside the tire and air is directly filled in the tire. A
tube type tire has a tube inside the tire and the tube
maintains the air pressure.
