DIAGNOSTIC MANUAL
STEP 2
Ensure the GNS relay
is fixed properly in the
connector of the relay box
Remove the GNS relay
Check the functioning of relay by
providing 12V to terminal 86
and ground to terminal 85
Examine the short to battery of
of GNS relay control wire from
EMS ECU
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify

STEP 1
Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P1713 is present?
Is P1713 present?
Is a clicking sound
heard?

Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
Replace the GNS relay with a
new one
Clear the DTC and verify
