DIAGNOSTIC MANUAL
STEP 2
Refer the connector information
given in the previous page and
check the short to ground and
short to battery of power supply
wire from ECU to the sensor as
below.
Boost pressure sensor
1.
2. Rail pressure sensor
3. Clutch sensor
4. Vehicle speed sensor
5. Camshaft sensor
Disconnect one sensor (for the
sensors listed above ) wiring
harness connector at a time
and switch ON the ignition
Try to clear the DTC
If the DTC is cleared , then
suspect internal failure of the
sensor for which the wiring
harness connector is
disconnected
Replace the sensor with a new
one
Check for any new DTC's

STEP 1
Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if P0641 is present?
Is P0641 present?
Is short circuit
noticed ?

Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
Examine the short circuit to
ground/battery of the sensor
power supply wire
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify
