Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) Check
The Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) check watches for certain failure modes and stores the appropriate
DTC.
The following DTCs apply to the accelerator pedal position sensors:
DTC
P2122
P2123
P2121
P2138
P2127
P2128
P2126
P2140
P2132
P2133
P2131
P2139
These codes are continuously monitored and require less than one second to register a malfunction.
Circuits are monitored and DTCs are set if voltages are above or below voltage values specified in the PCED
manual.
