NOTE: If the learn mode is successfully entered, the horn will sound once to indicate to begin the sensor training.
The sequence, starts on the left front, goes to the right front, then the right rear, and is completed on the left rear
tire.
WARNING: DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR IF MAGNETICALLY SENSITIVE
DEVICES ARE EXPOSED TO THIS MAGNET. MAGNETS CAN AFFECT PACEMAKERS.
4. After the initial horn report or when the message center displays TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE (if equipped),
place the magnet (tool number 204-324) on the valve stem of the LF tire pressure sensor. If successful, the
horn will sound briefly to indicate that the TPMS module has recognized the tire pressure sensor.
5. Within two minutes after the horn sounds, remove the magnet from the LF tire valve stem and place the
magnet on the valve stem of the RF tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the
TPMS module recognized the tire pressure sensor.
6. After the horn sounds for the RF sensor, remove the magnet from the RF tire valve stem and place the magnet
on the valve stem of the RR tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the TPMS
module recognized the tire pressure sensor.
7. After the horn sounds for the RR sensor, remove the magnet from the RR tire valve stem and place the
magnet on the valve stem of the LR tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the
TPMS module recognized the tire pressure sensor.
8. After the horn sounds for the LR sensor, remove the magnet from the LR tire valve stem and place the
magnet on the valve stem of the spare tire pressure sensor. The horn will sound briefly to indicate that the
TPMS module recognized the tire pressure sensor.
NOTE: If at any time during the tire training procedure, the TPMS module fails to recognize any of the four tire
pressure sensors, the horn will sound twice when the module exits train mode and the message center will display
TIRES NOT TRAINED-REPEAT (if equipped) . If this occurs, the sensor training procedure must be repeated
from the beginning.
