Kyle Form 5/Triple-Single Microprocessor-Based Recloser Control Installation and Operation Instructions
Form 5/Triple-Single and Form 5/Triple-Single UDP Control DIF Module 1
The DIF inputs are factory-configured as momentary (0.25 sec. duration) or maintained functions. When Supervisory
is blocked, Supervisory signals are disabled, but Remote inputs are active. Whetting voltage for the DIF inputs is sup-
plied by the DIF module or by the user. The input voltage range is 12 to 120 VAC or VDC.

Inputs
Supervisory Ground Trip Block provides supervisory operation of
ground trip block by a remote momentary signal.
This input performs the same function as the GND TRIP BLOCKED
key on the operator panel. This input is inactive if the Supervisory
function is disabled.
Supervisory Non-Reclosing provides supervisory non-reclosing
input by a remote momentary signal.
This input performs the same function as the NON-RECLOSING
key on the operator panel. This input is inactive if the Supervisory
function is disabled.
This input performs the same function as the BATTERY TEST key
on the operator panel. This input is inactive if the Supervisory func-
tion is disabled. This is a momentary function.
Remote Hot Line Tag performs the same functions as the HOT
LINE TAG switch on the operator panel. Remote Hot line Tag is
activated by a maintained SCADA command, a serial command,
or locally via a operator panel switch. This input is active regardless
of the state of the supervisory function.
Supervisory Trip and Lockout trips all three reclosers open and
locks out the control. The control remains locked out until closed
manually or by the supervisory close feature. A momentary signal
is required.
Supervisory Close initiates a closing signal to all three reclosers. A
momentary signal is required for proper operation.
Supervisory Trip and Lockout for each phase trips the recloser
open and locks out the control. The control remains locked out until
closed manually or by the supervisory close feature. A momentary
signal is required.
Supervisory Close for each phase initiates a closing signal to the
recloser. A momentary signal is required for proper operation.
