NOTE: It is recommended to only press the RESET switch when the logger
stops responding to a normal press button control when not connected to
DataView
recording, downloading or being configured.
If the logger is not responding to a button press, make sure the unit has
sufficient battery power. If the battery voltage is below 1.7V, the unit will not
respond to a button press. In this condition, pressing the RESET switch
will not restart the unit.
It is recommended to download any desired session, then erase the
memory before starting a new recording.
NOTE: The resumption of the logger operation in the above situations
assumes that the RESET switch cleared the fault(s). The logger will not
resume normal operation if the fault condition still exists. The instrument
will try to recover normally. However, under certain conditions, the clock
and memory full state may be reset.
