Hardware Status — Opens the Status dialog box (see figure 51), which provides an
overall view of the status of the matrix switcher, including the power supply voltages, the
temperature status, the Remote RS-232/RS-422 port configuration, and the installed and
updated firmware status.

Physical Switcher Layout — Opens the DMS Physical Configuration dialog box (see
figure 52), which displays the I/O board type installed in each slot. The In Channels or
Out Channels field can be helpful in identifying a specific input or output. In figure 52, for
example, output 29 is identified as slot 8, connector A (8o01).
