Wiring diagram 5: HDMI source (e.g. HD games console) with sound transfer via HDMI
A digital audio connection is required between the VSP 1250 R and the receiver for each HDMI source connected to
the VSP 1250 R which delivers audio signals via HDMI.
Assign the corresponding digital inputs of your receiver to these sources (see the chapter entitled 'Sound inputs' in
the operating instructions supplied with the SR 1535 R).
Note: all the co-axial and optical digital sound outputs of the VSP 1250 R always carry the same signal. It therefore
does not matter which output you select.
For the wiring arrangement illustrated above (games console with HDMI - picture
and sound - connected to the HDMI4 input of the VSP 1250 R), you must carry out
the following assignments in the CONFIGURATION menu of the SR 1535 R
surround receiver or the DD 1535 R surround decoder:
CONFIGURATION- Menu point Setting

Video inputs AUX AV2
Sound inputs DIG-5 coax.
YUV inputs
HDMI inputs AUX-AV2
Notes
Any Any setting, as standard video
inputs are not used for this device
