AUDIO SETUP

Sub-menu
The Audio Setup menu is used for adjusting the audio signals received and generated by the HDMI sockets of the
VSP 1250 R.
AUDIO FORMAT
In this sub-menu you can select which audio signals are
required from the playback devices connected to the
HDMI inputs of the VSP 1250 R.
• PCM
The source is required to deliver pure stereo PCM
audio data. This setting should only be selected if the
audio system (receiver / amplifier) connected to the
VSP 1250 R is a pure STEREO system.
Caution:
This setting should not be selected if the sound

from the VSP 1250 R, delivered by the source
via HDMI, is to be passed on to a surround
receiver.

If this setting is selected, a signal is sent to the HDMI
source devices connected to the VSP 1250 R indicating
that all types of stereo and surround audio signals can
be accepted. This setting must be selected if the sound
from the VSP 1250 R, delivered by the source via
HDMI, is to be passed on to a surround receiver.
