General instructions on installation

Warning
Switch off the following power supplies before undertaking
installation or maintenance work:
S The compressed air supply
S The operating voltage for the bus interface/internal logic
S The operating voltage for the CPV valves
You will thereby avoid:
uncontrolled movements of loose tubing
undesired movements of the connected actuators
undefined switching states of the electronic components
Caution
The CPV valve terminal contains electrostatically vulner
able components.
S Do not therefore touch the contacts of the components
S Observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
vulnerable components.
You will thereby prevent damage to the electronic compo
nents.
