8. For Line Name, type a line name for the printer.
9. For Line Configuration, touch an option. If you have a 10-pulse-per-second line, select Pulse.
10. Touch Next.
11. To restart the printer, touch Reboot.

1. In Xerox ® CentreWare
2. To configure security settings, for Security, click the Pencil icon.
3. To clear the recipient list after the fax job completes, in the Global Policies area, for Clear
Recipient List After Job Completes?, select Yes.
4. Click Save.

1. At the control panel, press the Machine Status button.
2. Touch Service Settings→Fax→Incoming Fax Defaults.
Note: To access the Incoming Fax Defaults feature at the control panel, log in as a system
administrator.
3. To set the printer to receive all incoming calls as faxes, or to answer manually, touch Call Receive
Mode.
a. For Call Receive Mode, select Immediately or Off (Manual Answer).
b. To set the code for access to an outside line, touch External Telephone Code. To change the
value, use the Up and Down arrows, then touch OK.
c. To exit the Call Receive Mode menu, touch OK.
4. To specify a time for answer delay, touch Automatic Answer Delay. To select a time between 1–7
seconds, use the Up and Down arrows, then touch OK.
5. To configure the fax footer, touch Receive Footer, select On or Off, then touch OK.
6. To select an option for the incoming ring, dial tone, and transmission tones, touch Fax Card
Volume, select options as needed, then touch OK.
7. To select the printer tray to use to print faxes, touch Fax Receive Tray.
a. For each tray, select On or Off.
