Using the wide mode

If you move the power zoom lever to "W" side,
you can record with a wider angles than normal
tape recording.
You can record a 16:9 wide picture to watch on
the 16:9 wide-screen TV (16:9WIDE).
Black bands appear on the screen during
recording in the 16:9WIDE mode [a]. The picture
during playing back in the 4:3 mode on a wide-
screen TV [b] or a normal TV [c]* are
compressed in the widthwise direction. If you set
the screen mode of the wide-screen TV to the full
mode, you can watch pictures of normal images
[d].
* The picture played back in the wide mode on a
normal TV appears the same as the picture
played back in the wide mode on your
camcorder [a].

The POWER switch should be set to

Operate by touching the panel.
(1) During recording standby, press FN to
display PAGE1.
(2) Press MENU to display the menu.
(3) Select 16:9WIDE in
(p. 226).
(4) Select ON, then press EXEC.
To return to FN
Press EXIT.
To cancel the wide mode
Set 16:9WIDE to OFF in the menu settings.

Utilisation du mode
grand écran
Si vous poussez le bouton de zoom vers le côté
« W », vous pourrez filmer sous un plus grand
angle de vue.
Vous pouvez enregistrer en format 16:9 pour
regarder vos films sur un téléviseur grand écran
(16:9WIDE).
Des bandes noires apparaîtront à l'écran pendant
l'enregistrement en mode 16:9WIDE [a]. L'image
sera comprimée horizontalement pendant la
lecture en mode 4:3 sur un téléviseur grand-écran
[b] ou sur un téléviseur normal [c].* Si vous
sélectionnez le mode grand écran sur un
téléviseur grand écran, l'image sera normale [d].
* L'image affichée en mode grand écran sur un
téléviseur normal a le même aspect que l'image
affichée sur le caméscope en mode grand écran
[a].
Le commutateur POWER doit être en position
.
Utilisez les touches de l'écran tactile.
(1) Pendant l'attente d'enregistrement, appuyez
sur FN pour afficher la PAGE1.
(2) Appuyez sur MENU pour afficher le menu.
(3) Sélectionnez 16:9WIDE dans
appuyez sur EXEC (p. 236).
(4) Sélectionnez ON, puis appuyez sur EXEC.
EXIT
ON
EXEC RET.
Pour revenir à FN
Appuyez sur EXIT.
Pour annuler le mode grand écran
Réglez 16:9WIDE sur OFF dans les paramètres
du menu.
