Note
If you press DISPLAY/BATTERY INFO with DISPLAY set to V-OUT/LCD in the menu settings, the
picture from a TV or VCR will not appear on the LCD screen even when your camcorder is connected
to the output jacks on the TV or VCR.
Meaning
To display date, time and various settings during
playback when you press DATA CODE on the Remote
Commander (p. 53)
DATE To display date and time during playback when you
press DATA CODE on the Remote Commander
—— Temporarily change the area where you are using your
camcorder
Not during summer time
ON During summer time
To output the melody when you start/stop recording
or when an unusual condition occurs on your
camcorder
NORMAL To output the beep instead of the melody
OFF To cancel melody, the beep sound and shutter sound
To activate the Remote Commander supplied with
your camcorder
OFF To deactivate the Remote Commander to avoid remote
control misoperation caused by other VCR's remote
