Connecting your camcorder to a
computer using the USB cable
(For Windows users)

Installing ImageMixer

Make sure USB driver installation is complete.
"ImageMixer Ver.1.5 for Sony" is an application
that can capture or edit images, or create video
CDs.
To install and use this software in Windows 2000,
you must be authorised as administrators. For
Windows XP, you must be authorised as
computer administrators.
(1) Turn on a computer and allow Windows to
load.
(2) Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CD-
ROM drive of the computer.
The application software starts up.
(3) Select "Handycam" on the screen.
The title screen appears.
(4) Move the cursor to "ImageMixer" and click.
The Install Wizard programme starts up and
the "Choose Setup Language" screen appears.
(5) Select the language for installation.
(6) Follow the on-screen messages.
The installation screen disappears when
installation is complete.
(7) Follow the on-screen messages to install
WinASPI.
(8) If DirectX 8.0a or later is not installed on the
computer, continue installation after installing
ImageMixer.
Follow the on-screen messages to install
DirectX 8.0a. After installation is complete,
restart the computer.

Assurez-vous que l'installation du pilote USB est
terminée.
« ImageMixer Ver.1.5 for Sony » est une
application qui permet de saisir ou d'éditer des
images, ou bien de créer des CD vidéo.
Pour installer et utiliser ce logiciel sous Windows
2000, il faut y être autorisé en tant
qu'administrateurs. Pour Windows XP, vous
devez y être autorisé en tant qu'administrateurs
de l'ordinateur.
(1) Allumez votre ordinateur et attendez que
Windows soit chargé.
(2) Insérez le CD-ROM fourni dans le lecteur de
CD-ROM de votre ordinateur.
Le logiciel démarre.
(3) Sélectionnez « Handycam » sur l'écran.
L'écran-titre apparaît.
(4) Posez le curseur sur « ImageMixer » et
cliquez.
Click/
Cliquez ici.
L'assistant d'installation se met en marche et
l'écran « Choose Setup Language »
(Sélectionner la langue) apparaît.
(5) Sélectionnez la langue pour l'installation.
(6) Suivez les messages qui apparaissent à
l'écran.
L'écran d'installation disparaît lorsque
l'installation est terminée.
(7) Suivez les messages qui apparaissent à l'écran
pour installer WinASPI.
(8) Si DirectX 8.0a ou une version ultérieure n'est
pas intallé sur l'ordinateur, continuez
l'installation après l'installation de
ImageMixer.
Suivez les messages qui apparaissent à l'écran
pour installer DirectX 8.0a. Lorsque
l'installation est terminée, redémarrez
l'ordinateur.
