    Quick Start Guide Connecting the power cord Use the battery pack when using your camcorder outdoors (p. 11). Inserting a cassette Slide OPEN/EJECT in the direction of the arrow and open the lid. This chapter introduces you to the basic features of your camcorder.

    Step 1 Preparing the power supply Connecting to a wall outlet When you use your camcorder for a long time, we recommend that you power it from a wall outlet using the AC power adaptor.     •Depending on the condition of the analog video signals, the computer may not be able to output the images correctly when you convert analog video signals into digital video signals via your camcorder. Depending on the analog video unit, the image may contain noise or incorrect colors.
