Battery Replacement

Before replacing the battery, disconnect the charger from the device. Then switch the
device OFF.
Always replace the batteries with two new batteries if they cannot be recharged correctly.
The old batteries must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Fully charge the batteries before first use. Only use Dentsply Sirona batteries (part
reference for EU: B00PPIQ2ACBAT, for US: T00PPIQ2ACBAT).
The battery compartment is located at the rear of Propex IQ
is secured by two 6-lobe screws (screw type: KN6041; screwdriver type: Torx T5).

Using an Torx T5 screwdriver, unscrew the two screws (1) and remove the battery

cover (2).

Remove the two batteries (3) from the battery compartment (4).

Insert two new batteries, replace the battery cover (2) and screw the two screws (1).
In order to avoid ingress of liquids during reprocessing procedures, make sure that after
closing the battery compartment no gaps are visible in the housing between the battery
cover and the lower housing.
