OPERATION SUMMARY

The table below provides a summary of all the basic operations to be performed while carrying out
the various procedures.
You can use it to quickly remind yourself of the procedures required by the facsimile machine to
perform a function.
To confirm data
To delete data
To overwrite data
To insert a space between characters and/or
digits
To enter alphanumeric characters
SETTING DIALLING FUNCTIONS WHILE ENTERING A FACSIMILE OR TELEPHONE
NUMBER
To insert a pause while dialling the number. A
pause should always be inserted between the
code and the number
To wait for an answering tone (for countries in
which it is required), before completing the
dialling of a number
To call an external user when the facsimile
machine is connected to a private branch
exchange
To switch from pulse to tone dialling

Press START
Press CLEAR
Move to the data to be overwritten by pressing
← ← ← ← ← or → → → → → and enter the new data
Press the → → → → → key to move the cursor one place
to the right
Press ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ or ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ to display the desired character
and then press CONFIRM
Press EXT./PAUSE. The letter "p" appears
on the display to identify the pause set

2nd DIAL TONE. The symbol ":"
appears on the display
