3. By pressing ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ or ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ display the "PRINT HEAD ADJUSTMENT" function and press START
again.
4. Then, by pressing ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ or ↓, ↓, ↓, ↓, ↓, access the "NOZZLES TEST" function and press START. The
facsimile machine starts to test the nozzles and prints the diagnostic result.
DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
The print test carried out by the facsimile machine contains a numbered scale and a message
concerning the operating status of the nozzles.
Correct
If the numbered scale appears as in the figure below:
and the message concerning the print head nozzles is ALL NOZZLES OK!, this means that the
print head is correctly inserted and all the electrical circuits are working. Press STOP to terminate
the procedure.
Defective
If the numbered scale appears as in the figure below:
and the message displayed is ALL NOZZLES OK!, this means that there is a mechanical problem.
If this is the case, consult the table below:
CAUSE
The paper used has a very porous
surface.
There is a particle on the printing nib
that

The printing nib is dirty.
Some of the nozzles are blocked.

Try printing on the other side of the sheet or else
use a different type of paper.
