11.5. Cleaning the inside of the inverter
THIS IS AN OPERATION RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE CUSTOMER'S TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
SERVICE (CTS) OR THE AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE (ATS).
In accordance with safety directives, all electrical devices and mechanisms subjected to high temperatures, are
to be protected by safety guards (covers) to prevent accidental contact with these elements.
DANGER!
ANY INTERVENTION INVOLVING THE REMOVAL OF ANY OF THE DRYER'S COVERS IS AN
OPERATION RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE CUSTOMER TECHNICAL SERVICE (CTS) OR THE
AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE (ATS). THIS MUST NEVER BE DONE BY THE MACHINE
OPERATOR. (This limitation DOES NOT AFFECT the opening of the front protective cover on the lint
filter).
BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE REMOVAL OF ANY SAFETY GUARD, THE PRECAUTIONS
INDICATED AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS MANUAL AND IN THE PRESENT CHAPTER MUST BE
OBSERVED. ESPECIALLY:
DISCONNECT THE DRYER'S POWER SUPPLY
CLOSE THE GAS STOPCOCK (machines with gas heating).
CHECK THAT NONE OF THE DRYER PARTS IS AT A HIGH TEMPERATURE
ONCE THE OPERATION THAT HAS LED TO THE REMOVAL OF THE PROTECTIVE COVERS HAS
FINISHED, DO NOT RESTART THE MACHINE WITHOUT REFITTING AND SECURING ALL THE
COVERS PROPERLY.
NEVER START OR USE THE MACHINE IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ARE MISSING, INCORRECTLY
POSITIONED OR MALFUNCTIONING:

SAFETY DEVICES
CONTROL ELEMENTS.
Remove the dryer's rear cover.
Disconnect the inverter wiring connectors.
Disconnect the earth connection wire.
Remove the screws A and B securing the inverter
(Figures 11.2 and 11.3).
Remove the inverter.
