This machine is designed and intended solely for processing fabrics washed in a water bath or that have been previously treated in these conditions. Any use other than this is contraindicated without written authorisation from the manufacturer. Maximum output, performance, reliability and durability are achieved when the machine is installed, used and maintained correctly, and if a comprehensive and detailed service is carried out annually by the Authorised Technical Service.

    Operating modes 3. OPERATING MODES The control of the machine is divided into THREE MAJOR OPERATING AREAS or INTERVENTION MODES according to user levels. PROGRAM EXECUTION MODE A mode aimed at dryer users such as clients of coin-op facilities. This mode contains information intended for selecting and starting a drying program on payment of the preset amount.

    Program execution mode 4.2. Information displayed while the program is running This includes the drying and cooling down phases. The time remaining for the program in minutes is displayed in the centre of the icon. Drying phase. The heating system maintains the programmed temperature. Cooling-down phase.

    Program execution mode Standby mode at end of program On completing the drying program and corresponding cooling-down phase, and while the door remains unopened, the machine will remain in standby mode. During standby mode, provided that the internal temperature is high, the dryer will rotate the drum and run the fan intermittently.

Within this group, the tools are grouped into different menus.  CONFIGURING the system.     Configuration menu 7. CONFIGURATION MENU The CONFIGURATION menu contains many settings that allow the operation of the dryer to be adapted to the specific needs of each user. Details of the CONFIGURATION menu 7.1. Settings 7.1.1. General settings Language: Permits selecting the language of all the written messages.     Configuration menu 7.1.3. Prices The PRICES menu allows you to assign the price for running each drying cycle individually. Depending on how this is set in the Technical Area’s Parameters menu, the price of a program can be a value corresponding to coins, tokens or another charging system, installed directly in the machine or via an external central vending unit.

    Accounting menu 9. ACCOUNTING MENU This makes it possible to control the value and/or amount of coins or tokens inserted in the coin meter box in a given period of time. The ACCOUNTING option is especially suitable for dryers with a coin or token meter installed in the machine itself. Coherence between the values of the program counters, the TOTAL number of coins or tokens registered by the coin box meter and the contents of the counter box in each session, makes it possible to detect possible fraudulent actions or faults in the charging system.

    Alarms 10.2. Alarms To increase safety levels in operating the dryer and to protect both the linen being dried and the machines components, the microprocessor has the capacity to detect the presence of the most significant malfunctions that might possibly occur. When an alarm is triggered, the alarm symbol is displayed and the buzzer is activated.

Probable cause: Excessive motor power consumption due to obstruction of the rotation, seizing or malfunction of the transmission systems. Overloading or excessively wet linen that exceeds the maximum power capacity of the motor. Fault or short circuit in the motor.
  • Page 40 Alarms INVERTER CONFIGURATION FAULT Lack of concordance between the inverter operating settings and the microprocessor memory settings. Probable cause: Inverter not initialised. Accidental modification or loss of the inverter configuration settings. Procedure: Disconnect the power supply from the machine and reconnect after five minutes. If fault persists or is frequently repeated, contact Technical Assistance Service.
  • Page 41 Alarms INPUT TEMPERATURE PROBE FAULT Fault in the system detecting the input temperature into the dryer drum. Input temperature values outside the set range. Probable cause: Fault in the detection system. Procedure: Disconnect the power supply and contact Authorised Technical Services. In dryers with gas heating, close the manual gas inlet valve.
  • Page 42 Alarms GAS IGNITION FAULT (machines with gas heating only) Persistent detection of a faulty flame. (This alarm only occurs on machines with gas heating.) When this alarm is first displayed on the screen, a compulsory purge time begins during which the system disables the STOP key.

    Removal from service 12. REMOVAL FROM SERVICE AND DISMANTLING CAUTION!  Taking the dryer out of service must be performed by a specialised service or contractor.  Under no circumstances must the dryer be left unchecked.  When it comes to handling and transporting the machine, the same precautions and regulations must be taken into account as for the installation process.
