iQube2

The iQube2 junction box designed for use with the Rice Lake CLS-M series forklift scales and is a replacement for the junction

box used on early models of the scale. Load cell connectors have been updated to improve serviceability.

7.1

The junction box is located between the front and back panel of the scale and is covered by a metal cover plate on the top of the

scale.

1. Turn scale power off on the Communication/Power box.

2. Remove the bolt that holds the cover plate in place, which conceals the junction box.

3. Remove the cover plate and set aside.

4. Unplug power cable.

5. Lift the forklift to a comfortable working height.

6. Remove the two screws securing the junction box to the scale, using a #4 metric Allen wrench, to remove existing

junction box from scale carriage.

7. Remove the coiled interface cable from the junction box.

8. Disconnect the load cell cables.

Steps 9-14 are only required when upgrading the original junction box to an iQube2. If replacing an iQube2 with

another iQube2 skip to step 15.

Note

Remove automotive quick connects from load cell cables.
