Commissioning VLT ISD Connection Box Operating Instructions

6.4 Switching the Connection Box on

The components of the ISD servo system must be wired
and connected correctly before the connection box is
switched on. Read the operating instructions of the other
ISD components carefully.
The cabling contains the power supply as well as the
communication for the system. The servo system cannot
be started until these basic requirements are fulfilled.
Switching on (booting up)
The connection box can be switched on via the CAN
communication from the PLC system if the Auto Power-up
parameter is enabled.

CAUTION
Do not switch the connection box on and off repeatedly.
Doing so will damage the internal components.
Wait 5 minutes after switching the connection box off
before switching it on again.
