In Germany, Sartorius AG has been
accredited by the Metrology authority
of Lower Saxony to perform EC
verification, Notified Body of the
European Community No. 0111.
2. The security strip is affixed after the initial
verification of a weighing instrument of accuracy
class K or l and seals it against unauthorized
tampering with the metrological data. If the security
strip is damaged, the verification is not valid and
the weighing instrument is no longer approved for
legal metrology.
