If you select a topic for deletion, all the subtopics (see p.
167) below it will also be deleted. You may want to
rearrange an outline beforehand to prevent this (see p.
169).
Deleting an outline
1. Select the outline you want to delete in the Index mode or
display it in the View mode.
2. Press (MENUJ , touch (I, and select DATA
DELETION.
A submenu appears.
3. Select SELECTED OUTLINE.
A warning message appears asking if you are sure you
want to delete the outline.
4. Touch p[ (or lmi to cancel the deletion).
You can also delete an outline by pressing (DELI in step
2 above. To do this in the View mode, the title must be
selected.
Deleting all outlines
1. In the Index or View mode press [m) , touch
A submenu appears.
A warning message appears asking if you are sure you
want to delete all outlines in the application.
3. Touch (YESI (or 1x1 to cancel the deletion).
