Troubleshooting - Fisher & Paykel WH1260F1 Installation Manual

The following is a list of problems you may encounter when using this appliance and
some suggestions that may help to correct the problem. If you still have problems,
please contact your Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician.

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Power not switched on
at the wall.
Household power
supply not working.
Keylock may be
activated.
Washer door not
closed properly.
The washer is waiting
for a command from
you.
The washer has
detected a fault.
Hot and cold taps not
turned on.
Hot and cold taps
not connected to the
corresponding valve
on the washer.
Blocked hose filters.
Inlet hose leaking,
twisted or damaged.
Faulty water supply.
Delay start may be set.
The washer has
detected a fault.
Power or water failure.
Washer has been
paused.
Oversudsing.
WHAT TO DO
Switch the power on at the wall.
Then press 'POWER'.
Try plugging in another electrical appliance.
Touch and hold the 'Keylock' button for
3 seconds (refer to 'Keylock', page 16).
Open and reclose door.
If is flashing then the washer is waiting
for a command from you.
Check if a code is being displayed on the
panel (refer to 'Fault codes', page 35).
Check that both hot and cold taps are
turned on (if using cold inlet only ensure
inlet valve cap is installed on the hot valve
on the washer).
Check the cold tap is connected to the
cold valve on the washer and the hot tap is
connected to the hot valve.
Check the tap end of the inlet hoses
for blockages.
Check the inlet hoses for leaks or damage.
Check that the inlet hoses are not twisted.
Check taps that aren't connected to the
washer are working.

Refer to 'Fault codes', page 35.
Check the power and/or water is working
correctly.
Touch the button to continue.
Washer is waiting for suds to dissolve
before continuing the cycle.
