The following is a list of problems you may encounter when using this appliance and some
suggestions that may help to correct the problem. If you still have problems, please contact
your Fisher & Paykel trained and supported service technician.

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Power not switched on at
the wall.
Household power supply
not working.
Hot and cold taps not
turned on.
Blocked hose filters.
Delay start may be set.
The washer has detected
unevenly distributed
clothes
Machine is continually
going out of balance.
Too much or too little
water when filling on
AUTO water level
Too much or too little
water when filling on
AUTO water level
Washer siphoning.
Load has gone out
of balance.

Washer is not level.
Suds build up.
WHAT TO DO
Switch the power on at the wall.
Then press
.
Try plugging in another electrical appliance.
Check that both hot and cold taps are turned on (if
using cold inlet only ensure inlet valve cap is installed
on the hot valve on the washer).
Check the tap end of the inlet hoses
for blockages.
Refer to 'Delay Start'.
The clothes are unevenly distributed in the bowl, your
washer has compensated by lowering the spin speed.
Check the machine is level and does not rock in any
direction, refer to 'Levelling instructions'.
Too much water for load, refer to 'Water Level'.
The machine may still be in the process of
determining the correct water level for the load, refer
to 'Water level'.
Some loads do not suit AUTO water level, eg pillows,
bedding, large bulky garments. Manually select the
water level.
Ensure standpipe or tub is at least 850mm from the
floor level.
Banging – load is out of balance, refer to 'Levelling
instructions', 'Water Level'.
Open lid and redistribute load, then restart the washer.
Ensure washer is correctly levelled, refer to 'Levelling
instructions'.
Check the amount of detergent used, reduce if
necessary.
