Load your clothes individually into the drum. Close the door. Refer to 'Safety features',

page 14 for correct locking and unlocking of the door.
Press 'POWER' to turn on your washer.

Select your wash cycle by turning the SmartTouch™ Control Dial.

– A red LED will illuminate to match your selection.
– The screen will display the information specific to the selected wash cycle.
Refer to 'Wash cycles', page 17 for more details on options that suit your laundering
needs. Refer to 'ActiveIntelligence™', page 19 for more information.
Once the wash cycle is selected, the screen displays 'No Delay', indicating that wash

is ready to start. Touch
– If you prefer to start the wash cycle at a later time, set a delay for the start time
of your washer. Refer to 'Delay Start', page 24 for more information.
Select your desired detergent/softener dosing mode. Refer to 'Auto and manual dose',

page 20 for more information.
Fill the liquid detergent and fabric softener in their respective compartments.

Refer to 'Wash Preparation – Adding detergent and softener' (page 22) for more
information on the amount of detergent/softener to use.
If you wish to adjust the default settings of the wash cycle, refer to 'Customising wash

cycle', page 24.
Once ready, touch

– If you make an invalid selection, the washer will beep to alert you.
– When the cycle finishes, your washer will perform end of cycle beeps and then
turn off automatically.
– If you wish to stop your washer at any point during a cycle, simply touch
to pause the cycle. There may be a slight delay while the drum comes to a stop,
then the door will unlock. Under certain conditions however the door will remain
locked for safety reasons (refer to 'Safety features', page 14).
– If you wish to cancel or change the wash cycle once a cycle has started, simply
touch the
IMPORTANT!
For the best fabric and colour care, remove your clothes as soon as the cycle
is complete.
Failure to follow the instructions in this guide can result in damage to your
garments and expectations of wash performance may not be met.
