The following is a list of problems you may encounter when using this appliance and some
suggestions that may help to correct the problem. If you still have problems, please contact
your Fisher & Paykel Authorised Repairer.

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSES
Power not switched on at
the wall.
Household power supply
not working.

WHAT TO DO
Switch the power on at the wall.
Then touch

Try plugging in another electrical appliance.
Touch and hold the
2 seconds, refer to 'Keylock mode'.
Check that both the hot and cold taps are
turned on.
Clear blockages from inlet hose filters.
Refer to 'Delay Start' for information.
Ensure drain hose is located in standpipe
or tub.
Ensure standpipe is at least 850 mm high
but no more than 1200 mm high.
To prevent siphoning ensure the drain hose
does not extend more than 20 mm from the
end of the hose guide, refer to 'Draining'.
Pause washer and manually redistribute
the load.
Check the washer is level and does
not rock in any direction, refer to
'Levelling instructions'.
Washer has compensated by lowering the
spin speed.
The washer has slowed the spin speed as a
protective measure.
Check the washer is level and does
not rock in any direction, refer to
'Levelling instructions'.
Refer to 'Changing pre-set options' to
change the out of balance recovery mode.
