Stop & Go Function
In the factory setting, the stop & go function is activated.
The stop & go function can be deactivated in customer programming.
With the stop & go function activated, if the lock touchpad $ is pressed for 2
seconds, all active burners are switched back to power level 1.
The initial contact is acknowledged by a beep; after 2 seconds, two beeps
confirm the beginning of the "stop" status. All burner displays show "1", and the
dot LED above the lock touchpad $ flashes.
Note:
With the acknowledgement tone deactivated, only the beginning and the end of
the "stop" status will be indicated (2 beeps).
If the lock touchpad $ continues to be pressed after the second beep, the
cooktop is locked, provided the "three-finger lock" is not set (refer to Section
010-2.17).
If a burner is heating with start-up auto-boost, the remaining cooking time is
saved and keeps running after the "stop" status is lifted.
If auto-boost was switched on, the boost time continues to run.
The minute minder feature continues; the automatic switch-off feature of the
timer is stopped for the duration of the "stop" status.
During the "stop" status, only the following operations are possible:
End the "stop" status by again touching the lock $ icon; all burners will
continue to heat at the previously set power level.
Switch off burners by simultaneously touching the associated - and +
touchpads.
Switch off the timer by simultaneously touching the - and + touchpads.
Switch off the entire cooktop via the main switch . This ends the "stop"
status.
It's not possible to lock the cooktop while it is in "stop" status.
When touching another touchpad, the dot LED above the lock $ icon lights up
and a signal tone sounds. The selected input is not carried out.
Note:
After 1 hour in "stop" status, the cooktop switches off by itself.
After the "go" function is activated, the maximum operating time, depending on
the set power level (refer to Section 010-2.13), is restored.
