Note:
During the heating phase, all segments of the light ring light up, and the power
level display shows the power level selected.
4. Record the heating time for the power level selected.
5. Compare the value with the guide values given in the operating instructions.

Removing the Cooktop

Note:
To prevent damage to the countertop, place a cloth or similar under tools when
doing this work.
1. Carefully lever the cooktop from the countertop using a suitable flat tool such
as a paint scraper or a cooktop lever. See Figure 010-9.
2. Lift the cooktop upward to remove.

Removing the Ceramic Surface

1. Remove the cooktop and disconnect it from power; see Section 010-4.4.
2. Remove the ceramic surface retaining screws (12 T20s); see Figure 010-10,
Item 1.
3. Lift the ceramic surface up and off of the cooktop base; see Figure 010-10,
Item 2.

Selection Electronic Removal

1. Remove the cooktop and disconnect it from power; see Section 010-4.4.
