Removing the Filter/Control Electronics (1N1/2N1)

1. Remove the cooktop and disconnect it from power; see Section 010-4.4.
2. Remove the ceramic surface; see Section 010-4.5.
3. Remove the selection electronic; see Section 010-4.6.
4. Remove all induction coils (see Section 010-4.7).
5. Remove the induction-coil mounting bracket; see Section 010-4.8.
6. Disconnect all connections from the appropriate filter/control electronic (use
the special pliers provided with the replacement electronic to disconnect any
ribbon cables).
7. Right filter/control electronic only: Lift up the electronic's plastic casing
and loosen the T20 screws on the undersides of the screw terminals.
Remove all wires from the screw terminals.
8. Release and remove the filter/control electronic from its plastic casing.

Removing the Main Power (Transformer) Board (3N1)

1. Remove the cooktop and disconnect it from power; see Section 010-4.4.
2. Remove the ceramic surface; see Section 010-4.5.
3. Remove the selection electronic; see Section 010-4.6.
4. Remove all induction coils (see Section 010-4.7).
5. Remove the induction-coil mounting bracket; see Section 010-4.8.
6. Disconnect all connections from the board (Figure 010-16, Item 2).
7. Using needlenose pliers, pinch each of the retainers (Figure 010-16, Item 1)
together while pulling the board upward to release it.
8. Remove the board from the cooktop base.
