Riding with ePOWER
WARNING
Less perceptibility of electric
propulsion.
Risk of accident
When you use electric propul-
sion, you must always bear in
mind that the absence of en-
gine noise means that ped-
estrians and other road users
might not be aware of your ap-
proach on your E-Scooter.
Exercise special care and at-
tention when riding.
Energy recovery by
deceleration
The high-voltage battery unit is
partly recharged by energy re-
covery. When the vehicle decel-
erates the electrical machine acts
as a generator, converting kinetic
energy to electricity.
Deceleration depends on the rid-
ing mode you select, and on the
position of the electronic throttle
twistgrip. The less you twist
the electronic throttle twistgrip,
the sharper the vehicle deceler-
ates. Energy is recovered and
the high-voltage battery unit re-
charges. Deceleration with the
electronic throttle twistgrip in the
closed position is similar to light
braking.
Energy can be recovered when
the following conditions are satis-
fied:
E-Scooter is on the move.
Speed is higher than approxim-
ately 5 km/h.
Energy cannot be recovered in
the following situations:
The high-voltage battery unit is
fully charged.
The high-voltage battery unit
is at a very high or very low
temperature. In winter or sum-
mer there is a possibility of en-
ergy recovery being temporarily
