Principle

6
The vehicle can be operated
without any emissions whatso-
60
ever on account of its electric
drive.
The special high-voltage battery
unit supplies energy to the elec-
trical machine.
In all riding situations, including
for example pullaway and ac-
celeration, and also at higher
speeds, the torquey electrical
machine provides dynamic riding
characteristics.
z
The high-voltage battery unit is
recharged with a charging cable,
for example while the vehicle is
parked, or while on the move by
energy recovery.
Charging at special power sup-
plies is particularly fast. But it
is also possible to recharge at
ordinary household sockets for
example in private houses.
Energy recovery
The high-voltage battery unit is
partly recharged by energy re-
covery while the vehicle is on the
move. Energy recovery ensures
that very little energy is lost by
braking. When the vehicle decel-
erates the electrical machine acts
as a generator, converting kin-
etic energy partly or completely
into electricity. This partly re-
charges the high-voltage battery
unit, helping to maximise range.
There are several ways in which
recharging can take place while
the vehicle is on the move:
Throttle-twistgrip position
closed / coasting
When the E-Scooter brakes
In the instrument cluster, the
CHARGE
marker is in the
the gauge. It is important to think
well ahead and reduce speed in
good time in order to make the
best possible use of the vehicle's
energy recovery capability.

General instructions

NOTICE
Do not leave the E-Scooter
parked up for an extended period
with too low a state of charge.
Before leaving the vehicle parked
up for some time, check on
the charge status indicator
that the high-voltage battery
is fully charged. The high-
voltage battery will be damaged
in the event of excessive deep
discharge.
NOTICE
Recharge the high-voltage bat-
part of
tery unit when the range is down
to 30 km, as otherwise the per-
formance of the electric drive
could drop off perceptibly.
