Omnia.9 processing software and the GUI software.
The update .pak file downloaded from the Omnia website must be used as-is and can be copied to the root of an external USB
drive to update the unit locally or can be used by the NfRemote software to update the unit remotely. This menu will look
different from the front panel and through NfRemote.
To start the update process, put your backup processor on the air and then navigate to Home / System / System Config /
Software Update.
If using NfRemote, click the Upload Software button. A select file dialog box will open, where you'll need to locate the
downloaded update PAK file on your computer and then click Open which will upload it to the unit.
Upload status will be displayed on the Upload Software button. When the upload has successfully finished, the status line
below should say "3.xx.xx updater ready". Click the Update Software to 3.xx.xx button to start the update process, which
will take you of the air anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the age of your current Omnia.9 software
version.
If using the front panel, place the new PAK directly in the root directory of a USB drive (making sure there are no other
Omnia.9 PAK files there) and plug it into the rear of the unit. The Update from USB button should become available after a few
seconds. Tap it and follow the on-screen instructions. The update will take you of the air anywhere from a few seconds to a few
minutes depending on the age of your current Omnia.9 software version.
