1.3 Definitions of Terms

Throughout this manual, the following terms are used:

D-TEC stands for the entire D-TEC Safety System (Sensor, Display, Installation Kit, and
Installation Bracket)

Mast refers to the telescoping structure that raises the payload

Payload stands for the object or equipment being raised by the mast to an operational
height
See Section 6.2 for an Extended Glossary of Terms used within this manual.
