3.9 Sensor installation

3.9.1 Instrument connections

The sensor determines the dissolved oxygen concentration in a given water sample. The sensor
spot is coated with a luminescent material. Blue light is then transmitted to the sensor surface
and red light received in return. The cables through which this light is transmitted/received are
color coded.
Ensure the correct colored cable is attached to the similarly colored connector on the instrument
as illustrated in
cable (temperature - colored black) is connected to the temperature socket.
