PostBase One with PC connection

Specific PC software from Francotyp-Postalia (RemoteOne as well as the optionally
available applications ReportOne and MailOne 2.0) allow you to comfortably operate
the mailing system via PC and offer extensive booking, analyzing and reporting
features.
This chapter describes the particularities in handling the PostBase One mailing
system when connected to a PC.

PostBase One with PC connection
PC Software Mode ON / OFF
You can set up PostBase One in such a way
that meterings are solely possible in connec-
tion with a PC and the specific PC software
from Francotyp-Postalia (see chapter 11.15,
page 93).
This way, you can make sure that every
metering is registered on the PC for further
booking, analyzing and managing.
Connect PostBase One to the PC
• Make sure the PC is connected to the post-
age meter ( interface) via USB.
• Switch on the PostBase One mailing
system.
• If necessary, select a user and enter the
PIN.
