NOTE:
To secure the ring nut, and lock washer 6
bend one lobe into the ring nut slot, and the
other towards the gear side.
Ring nut wrench 8: 90890-06511
Ring nut wrench extension 9:
90890-06513
Ring nut :
105 N·m (10.5 kgf·m, 76 ft·lb)

Installing the water pump

1. Install a new gasket 1, and outer plate
cartridge 2.
2. Install the Woodruff key into the drive
shaft.

3. Align the groove in the impeller 3 with
the Woodruff key 4, and then install the
impeller onto the drive shaft.
4. Install the insert cartridge 5 into the
pump housing 6, and then apply grease
to the inside of the insert cartridge.

NOTE:
Align the insert cartridge projection a with
the hole b in the pump housing.
